All employers are required to keep current copies of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for each product that is controlled under WHMIS guidelines. These sheets are valid for three years from the date of issue and must then be replaced. Keeping an MSDS database current can become a time consuming task that demands constant attention.
